Who is Bitsy?

Bitsy, a Hanover native, has been pet sitting for friends and family in the Hanover area since 2005-- at least that's when she remembers going solo with her pet care missions. Over the years, she's become a dependable sitter for multiple clients and recently became thoroughly background checked and vetted on both the Wag! and Rover apps for pet care.

She's currently finishing her M.Ed. in School Counseling at Millersville University of Pennsylvania and founded barks + bitsy to fulfill her needs for income, purpose, and fun.

Growing up with pets of all kinds, Bitsy has a profound love for every creature. She has three cats and a dog of her own-- that's Lincoln, who loves to share her hoodies with her. Although cats are dogs are mainly her clientele, she has had experience with everything from chameleons to chinchillas to tortoises to hedgehogs. She's thrilled that you've considered her for your pet care needs!
